Arpit Gupta, NYU Stern Assistant Professor of Finance, specializes in studying default dynamics in household, real estate, and corporate finance using large datasets. His research explores foreclosure contagion, health events' impact on foreclosures, and bankruptcies. Recipient of the 2016 Top Finance Graduate Award from Copenhagen Business School, Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Chicago.
